La stagione dei premi è appena all’inizio, e in questi giorni si stanno annunciando i vari film candidati dalle corporazioni per gli aspetti tecnici, dal trucco ai costumi, passando per la fotografia e la regia. Il 12 gennaio 2023 sono stati resi noti i nominati ai “Costume Designers Guild Awards”, abbreviato con CDGA, in categorie diverse a seconda del prodotto audiovisivo, divisi anche in base al genere d’appartenenza. Sono premi indicatori per quel che saranno gli Oscar, quindi sono da tenere d’occhio in tal senso; infatti è dal 1999 che l’Academy Award per i Migliori costumi va ai film considerati d’epoca, e solo due volte c’è stata l’eccezione di premiare gli Sci-Fi / Fantasy con Mad Max: Fury Road (2016) e Black Panther (2019) a spezzare il trend.
