L’80esima edizione degli Golden Globe, dopo la scorsa annata senza trasmissione televisiva e/o streaming in diretta ma con aggiornamenti continui telematici tramite sito ufficiale, la premiazione torna su NBC il 10 gennaio. Gli artisti saranno invitanti al Beverly Hilton in California (Beverly Hills), e i vincitori saranno annunciati in chiaro e sulla piattaforma di streaming Peacock. Le categorie sono sia in ambito cinema che televisivo, con nomination votate dalla Hollywood Foreign Press Association (circa 70 critici).
In una stagione ancora incerta, i Golden Globe saranno uno dei primi indicatori, cominciando la stagione dei premi americani nonostante abbiano lasciati indifferenti nelle scorse edizioni. Ma oltre la cerimonia, la cosa che può rivelarsi utile saranno le nomination e i relativi premi, indice di una stagione cinematografica 2022 altalenante, e il cui box office non ha particolarmente brillato. In Italia sono tanti i titoli non ancora distribuiti, ma è ancora tutto da scoprire.
